— Problem To Solve
Boom is a fun, playful clothing brand that creates designs using hand drawing, painting, illustration, and screen printing.
The challenge was designing a pop-up that goes beyond selling — turning a small booth into a full brand experience people can see, touch, and feel.
— Overview
I designed a pop-up for my brand Boom — a hand-painted clothing brand with a cartoon character identity. The pop-up was designed to be placed at Seattle Center Park, where a lot of people walk by and festivals are held.
— Research & Insight
Most people stop when they see something being made live or something visually different and eye-catching.
My insight: live painting on clothes and a strong character presence can turn a small booth into a full brand experience.
— Space Elements
Five design decisions shaped the pop-up experience.
— Art Van
— Uniform
— Color Palette
— Solution
The final pop-up design turns a small selling space into an interactive brand experience. People can watch the process, try on clothes, take photos, and connect with Boom. The space clearly communicates that Boom is artistic, personal, and playfully experimental.
